In a miniature electronic apparatus, a battery mounting structure includes a flat battery chamber 11 formed in the casing 1 of the apparatus and having an opening in the upper portion thereof, a lid 2 rotatable about pins 21 to selectively open or close the opening of the battery chamber, a pair of rails 22 provided on the inner periphery of the lid in order to support a disk-like battery B, and to limit the rotatable range of the lid, stops 23 are provided on the lid and respectively received in stop grooves 16 formed in the walls of the battery chamber. Lock pawls 24 extended out from the lid and mate with lock grooves 17a, 17b formed in the walls of the battery chamber. Terminal 25 is provided on the lid 2 for contacting the edge of the battery, whilst resilient terminals 13 of printed circuit 1 contact the bottom of battery B. When the lid is in an open position, the battery can be loaded in the apparatus. When the lid is in a closed position, it closes the battery chamber. Such a structure facilitates the loading and unloading of the battery while preventing the constituent parts of the apparatus from being lost or damaged by accident. <IMAGE> |
