The arrangement for suspending a power cable within a vehicle has the cable(7) attached to a cord(4) which takes its weight. Along the cord are spacers(6) used in conjunction with clips (8) to hold the cable. The clips wrap around the cable and alternate with the spacers. The spacers are evenly distributed and are glued to the cord. The cord is made of steel. At its ends it has lugs(5). The clips are tension bands. The cord links two parts of the vehicle that can move relative to each other, like the tipping cab and flat-bed of a truck, where one end of the cord is attached to the cab in front of the tip axis of the cab.
