<p>Method for upgrading metallurgical residue, particularly that contained infumes from electric furnace refining operations, wherein said residue isintroduced under pressure into a confinement, such as a cyclone dust catcher,where they are subjected to a very high temperature separation treatment; atthe outlet of said confinement, essentially ferrous products intended forretrieval, particularly by recycling, firstly, and gaseous products subjectedto an additional purification treatment to extract zinc and lead for example,secondly, are collected; to ensure the temperature rise, an oxidant gas, forexample oxygen, and possibly a combustible agent may be blown into theconfinement.</p> |
