<p>The subject of the invention is a process for forming, from a sheet-metal blank (1a), a lid (1), alternatively called top, comprising a peripheral rim (2) intended to be fixed to the edge of an opening of a container and at least one bump (step) (3) for stiffening the said lid. The process consists in holding the edge of the sheet-metal blank (1a) along its entire periphery and, in succession, in forming the said bump (3) and then in forming the peripheral rim (2). The subject of the invention is also a forming device for the implementation of the process and a metal lid obtained by this process. <IMAGE></p> |
