<p>PURPOSE:To dynamically set the window environments of individual's windows by saving all of the individual environments of a specified user, switching a job in operation to a background job, and displaying it as an icon. CONSTITUTION:The window manager of a current user 2 is displayed on user windows 50 on a root window 30. When another user 1 generates a log-in event to the same console, namely, when the saving of the window manager of the current user 2 is requested, saving operation for the virtual window manager and a process for switching the processes of the current user 2 to a background process of low priority are performed. Then the window manager of the current user 2 which is saved is made into the icon and registered in the virtual window manager 20, and it is displayed on the virtual window on the root window.</p> |
