PURPOSE:To provide a control method for updating of software which attains the independent evolution of OpS and NE, assures the mutual connection between these OpS and NE, and can flexibly deal with the change or addition of updating types of the NE side and with the application of the NE of a new type. CONSTITUTION:The updating state of software is shown in the value of attribute that shows the updating state in the class object of a program of an operation system. Then a switch-back unable state to a fast storage medium like a file memory, etc., a switch-back enable state to the fast storage medium, and a switch-back enable state to a slow storage medium like a hard disk, etc., are referred to as alpha, beta and gamma respectively. Therefore the control operation interface of OpS is secured to NE regardless of the device type, the updating type and the bender of the NE. As a result, the independent evolution is attained between the OpS and the NE and the mutual connection is asured between them with application of a logical control operation interface and a logical control operation sequence.
