PURPOSE:To easily control musical sound characteristics such as the pitch, vibratos of a generated musical sound by controlling the characteristics of the musical sound which is generated at a pitch specified by a pitch specifying means according to a depressing operation state detected by a depressing operation state detecting means. CONSTITUTION:This electronic wind instrument is provided with a pressure sensor 7 which detects the pressing force with which a player continues to press a pitch setting switch 5 and the detection output of this pressure sensor 7 is converted by a voltage converting circuit 8 into a voltage corresponding to the pressure; and the voltage is converted by an A/D converter 9 as pressure information into a digital signal, which is inputted to a CPU 4. The CPU 4 outputs various musical sound control data, obtained from the pitch setting switch 5, a timbre and effect changeover switch 6, and A/D converters 3 and 9, to a musical sound generating circuit 11. A desired musical sound signal is generated and radiated as an audio output by a musical sound output device 12. |
