<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording body which shows a clear difference between a part which is heated with magnetism applied and a part without magnetism applied, having a high resolution and superior image clarity and stability, and is able to display repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording body 1 has a recording layer 12 which includes microcapsules 14 enclosing a dispersion medium of dispersed magnetic powders 22 and pigments 23. The dispersion medium is in a solid phase at normal temperatures. At the recording time, a recording head 27 with a heating means is scanned from the side of the front surface of the magnetic recording body 1. The magnetic powders 22 of the dispersion medium melted by heat are moved to the surface of the magnetic recording body 1 because of magnetism, so that a black image is formed by the magnetic powders 22. At the erasing time, the whole surface is heated, and magnetism is applied wholly from the side of the rear surface of the magnetic recording body 1 or the rear surface is scanned by the recording head 27, whereby the surface of the magnetic recording body 1 is turned to the color of pigments and the image is erased.</p> |
