PURPOSE:To provide a holding mechanism of a cable provided with a connector in which the holding/releasing of the cable is facilitated while enhancing the maintainability and the wiring in the rack is facilitated. CONSTITUTION:A communication unit for establishing the interconnection between the back of a rack 10 and the front of a package 5 comprises a cable inserting/feeding section 11 for shifting the connector part of a cable 3 provided with connector between the back of the rack 10 and the front of the package 5, and a cable housing section 12 for holding the cable 3 within the rack 10.
