PURPOSE:To provide a radio telephone equipment capable of preventing the generation of excess transmission power at the time of radio connection and suppressing power consumption and interference to another radio system respectively to their mimimums. CONSTITUTION:The radio telephone equipment provided with control means 3, 8 for controlling a transmission power level in accordance with a communication state with a called station is also provided with a storage means 9 for storing the transmission power level of the preceding communication and the transmission power level stored in the means 9 is set up in the means 3, 8 as the initial transmission power level of the succeeding radio connection. An optimum transmission power value obtained at the time of executing radio communication with the called station is stored in the means 9, and in the case of executing succeeding radio communication, transmission power is set up to the minimum value to start transmission, so that a state transmission power is unnecessarily increased at the time of starting transmission can be evaded. |
