PURPOSE:To shorten a distance of movement of a head part and to shorten a tact time for installation by providing a printed board holding part with a robot which moves the head part having a nozzle part sucking up an electronic component, by moving the holding part and all to the vicinity of a desired supplying body and by enabling execution of an installing operation in the course of the movement of the holding part as well. CONSTITUTION:A printed board 17 conveyed to an installing machine is regulated by a printed board holding part 11 and moved together with the printed board holding part 11 to the vicinity of a component supplying body 14 supplying a first component. When the movement is completed, a robot 15 sucks up an electronic component from the component supplying body 14 by the use of a suction nozzle 16. Next, the robot 15 installs the sucked electronic component in a prescribed attitude at a prescribed position on the printed board 17. When another electronic component to be installed subsequently is sucked up from a different component supplying body 14, the installing operation is executed while the printed board holding part 11 and all are moved in the direction X to the vicinity of this component supplying body 14. After the components are installed, the printed board 17 is released from the printed board holding part 11. |
