摘要

PURPOSE:To display the entire documents on a display at all times by magnifying the document to be known in detail and reducing the unmagnified documents in a device for displaying the plural documents and visually performing retrieval. CONSTITUTION:When the document to be magnified so as to view contents in detail is selected by an indicating device 9, a ratio calculation means 4 obtains a magnifying ratio for the selected document and calculates a reducing ratio for the other documents. A magnifying/reducing means 5 magnifies and reduces the documents corresponding to the ratio obtained by the ratio calculation means 4 and a display means 7 takes out the magnified/reduced documents from a document storage part 6 and displays them on the display 8.
