PURPOSE:To automatically prepare and output a hierarchical chart based on data prepared beforehand. CONSTITUTION:An employee master file 1 and a position table file 2 are prepared by a data editing part 4 and an intra-block arrangement definition table 7 is prepared through a data input part 3. An intermediate chart preparation part 5 refers to the employee master file 1 and a position table inside the position table file 2, prepares an intermediate chart and stores it in an intermediate chart file 6. A hierarchical block developing part 8 refers to the intermediate chart and the intra-block arrangement definition table 7 and prepares the printing image data of an organization chart for which the printing image data of respective blocks are arranged at pertinent hierarchical positions inside a hierarchical image memory 11. A printing image developing part 12 refers to the intermediate chart, connecting the respective blocks corresponding to hierarchical connection relation by ruled lines and completes the printing image data of the organization chart. The organization chart is printed and outputted through a printing part 13. |
