PURPOSE:To reduce the communication cost and to use the communication line effectively by controlling a quantity of an audio signal sent from a sender side based on a video display form and a reproduction audio channel number at a receiver side. CONSTITUTION:When 6 reproduction speakers are in existence, a video display area in a display device 3 is divided into 1/6. Then a video display controller 1 sets audio reproduction in charge of an audio reproduction speaker 41 when a video image is displayed on a display area 31. Moreover, a video display controller 2 sets audio reproduction in charge of an audio reproduction speaker 42 when a video image is displayed on a display area 32. The speakers are set similarly. The video display controller 1 sends speaker selection setting for audio reproduction to each video image to an audio signal processor 2 as an audio signal control signal 60. The audio signal processor 2 decides the reproduction use channel number with respect to a video image depending on number of speakers selected and position relation with respect to each video image and makes processing of the audio signal. |
