MEMORY-CARD EARTHING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain an IC card surely removing the electrostatic charge of the IC card to be inserted to the slot of an electronic device sufficiently before a contactor at the front tip of the card is connected with the contactor of the device and constituting the card to be thin. CONSTITUTION: The IC card 10 is provided with a frame 16 including a molded main body and a circuit board device with a circuit board with plural elements installed in this frame and a ground surface and a connector 30. The frame 16 includes clips 70 and 72 fixed onto the main body of the material of a bulk conductivity higher than the main body and connected to the ground surface of the circuit board and is provided with a part exposed to outside at both ends of the card 10. Then the contact surface discharges electricity at an early stage by the contact of these clips 70 and 72 with ground contact terminals 74 and 76 arranged at the side face of the slot 12 of the electronic device.
