PURPOSE:To provide an auxiliary power supply for supplying low voltage DC and AC powers from a high voltage DC power supply in which the auxiliary power supply can be operated continuously even when the DC power supply voltage increases. CONSTITUTION:A voltage sensor 15 monitors the voltage of an input filter capacitor 4 and a control circuit 16 controls a switch 14 for discharging the capacitor through a discharge resistor 13 when the capacitor voltage increases. Consequently, temporary turn OFF of a high speed interrupter 2 for interrupting the operation is not required even upon the increase of DC power supply voltage, and the operation can be continued. |
