INFRARED HUMAN BODY DETECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of an infrared human body sensor even when the sensor is used in the outdoor by making an output discriminating circuit to change the processing method of detecting signals outputted from a comparator circuit in accordance with the output processing results of circuits which respectively process the outputs of ambient environment monitoring sensors. CONSTITUTION:Ambient environment monitoring sensors 10 and 11 monitor the ambient environment of the infrared human body detecting device. An output discriminating circuit 14 changes the processing method of detecting signals from a comparator circuit 54 to such a method that can suppress malfunctions when the circuit 14 discriminates that the ambient environment becomes such a state that malfunctions are apt to occur upon receiving the outputs of circuits 12 and 13 for processing the outputs of the sensors 10 and 11. As a result, the detecting signals outputted as final results are outputted from an output circuit 56 as control signals after off-delay time is added to the signals at a delay circuit 55. The output discriminating circuit 14 makes the detecting signal from the comparator circuit 54 to be inputted to the delay circuit 55 as they are when the circuit 14 discriminates that the ambient environment is not in the above-mentioned state. The detecting signals are outputted from the output circuit 56 after the off-delay time is added.
