PURPOSE:To prevent an unpleasant sound from being generated even by wrong percussion operation by arranging a sound generating means between plural drum pads, preventing the pads from being arranged closely to each other, and providing a protection member made of an elastic body similar to the pads at the peripheries of the pads. CONSTITUTION:An electronic drum main body consists of an upper and a lower cases, which are formed integrally of ABS resin. At a panel part formed at the base part of a triangle, a power switch 4, a variable resistor operation element 5, and timbre selecting operation elements 6 and 7 are arranged. Tone escapes 3 for musical sound generation are formed at the hypotenuses of the triangle and sound signals are sounded by speakers below them. The protection member made of the same material with the pads 2 covers the entire top surface except a panel surface 8 at the peripheries of the pads 2 and tone escapes 3. Therefore, even when the peripheries of the pads 2 are struck by mistake, a high-pitched sound generated like the upper case is struck is not generated since the protection member 1 is provided. |
