PURPOSE:To obtain copy paper markedly improved in light fastness by mixing a zinc salt of nucleus substituted salicylic acid having at least one hydrocarbon substituent of which the total number of carbon atoms is 8 or more with titanium dioxide and heat-treating the resulting mixture. CONSTITUTION:A zinc salt of nucleus substituted salicylic acid having at least one hydrocarbon substituent of which the total number of carbon atoms is 8 or more and titanium dioxide are mixed and heat-treated to prepare a developer. Heat treatment temp. is pref. 40-220 deg.C, more pref., 50-200 deg.C. It is desirable to use titanium dioxide in an amount of 1-300 pts.wt., pref., 2-50 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the zinc salt of nuclear substituted salicylic acid. |
