PURPOSE: To accurately align devices for transmission by providing receiving sections for a two-part type housing of an electronic optical assembly, in which each section houses one of two electronic optical devices. CONSTITUTION: This assembly includes a two-part structured housing 17 formed to strategically disposed devices and accurately align them in the housing 17. A device 31 in a receiving section 23 receives and converts electric signals into optical data signals adaptive is transmission through an optical fiber member 37. The connector end 39' is fixed to a protrudent end 41 of the device 31. The optical fiber has end sections 43' inside to accurately align about inner elements to strategically arrange them. Then device 31 acts as a transducer to exchange signals from a substrate 27 with optical data and sends them out through the fiber 37'.
