<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording body which shows a clear difference between a part which is heated with magnetism applied and a part, without magnetism applied, having a high resolution and superior image sharpness and stability, and is able to display repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording body 1 has a recording layer 12 including microcapsules 14. The microcapsule 14 encloses an organic solvent 24 having 200cps or larger viscosity at normal temperatures and 100cps or smaller viscosity at the heating time. Magnetic powders 22 and pigments 23 are dispersed in the microcapsule 14. At the recording time, a recording head with a heating means is scanned from the side of the front, surface of the magnetic recording body 1. As a result, magnetic powders 22 of the dispersion medium 24 melted by heat are moved to the surface of the magnetic recording body 1 by the magnetism, and a black image is formed by the magnetic powders 22. At the erasing time, the whole surface is heated and the magnetism is applied totally from the rear surface of the magnetic recording body 1 or the rear surface is scanned by the recording head, whereby the surface of the magnetic recording body 1 is turned to the color of pigments and the image is erased.</p> |
