<p>PURPOSE:To emphasize contrast by multiplying the densities of the picture elements of the difference pictures between object pictures and the pictures shifted for the object by an integer and performing specific integration at the time of integrating the densities of the obtained difference pictures and attaining the respective picture elements. CONSTITUTION:Inputted picture signals are delayed for the portion of one picture element by a delay circuit 1, the delay picture signals and the inputted picture signals are subtracted in a subtracting circuit 2 and the difference pictures are obtained. Also, the densities of the respective picture elements of the difference pictures are multiplied by (n) {(n)>1} and (n)-fold difference pictures are obtained. Difference picture signals outputted from the subtracting circuit 2 are inputted to an integration circuit 3 and the integration with limiters K1 and K2 is executed. That is, at the time of integrating the densities of the (n)-fold difference pictures in a delayed direction and attaining the respective pictures, arm integrated value is defined as the K1 when the integration value becomes the limiter K1 or more and the integrated value is defined as the K2 when the integration value becomes equal to or less than the limiter K2. Thus, in the entire areas of the densities of the pictures, the contrast can be emphasized without losing the information of minute density fluctuation.</p> |
