PURPOSE:To provide a power converter equipped with a controller in which the reliability is enhanced in the control by multiplexing the power command section, the power control section, and the pulse control section. CONSTITUTION:The controller for power converter comprising a self- extinguishing switching element is multiplexed while being divided sequentially into a power command section 10, a power control section 12, and a pulse control section 13. Each divided section comprises means 26, 28, 30 equipped with operating sections 100, 101, 102 and deciding sections 106, 107, 108 for operating control information and exchanging between the divided sections, and means 18, 19, 22, 23 for transmitting the safety operation information decided at the deciding sections to the control sections in the downstream. A plurality of output pulse signals from the pulse control section are subjected to majority vote by means of a plurality of logical sums 121, 123 and a logical product 124 before being delivered to a power converter. Since abnormal control information is found in the early stage and control information is outputted in safety, a power converter equipped with highly reliable controller can be realized. |
