PURPOSE:To maintain privacy and to prevent a periphery from being troubled by providing this television (TV) radio wave transmitter/receiver with an infrared-ray transmitting part including an infrared-ray modulator and an adaptor including an infrared-ray sensor and an infrared-ray demodulator. CONSTITUTION:A TV wave received by an external antenna 1 is supplied to the infrared-ray transmitting part 2 including the modulator, infrared-rays are modulated by the modulator and the TV radio wave and the modulated infrared rays are radiated to air. The radiated infrared rays are restored to a normal TV wave by the adaptor 6 including the infrared-ray sensor annexed to a TV receiver 5 and the demodulator and the TV wave is received by the TV receiver 5. Laser light can also be used instead of infrared rays and a using procedure can be improved by arranging the adaptor itself in the TV receiver 5. A TV wave transmitter/receiver utilizing infrared rays is arranged in a room, underground with fine radio wave band or a train. |
