<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the damage due to dropping of snow from the body of a snow dropping unit, fixed to a wire while containing a drive means for spiral rod, by providing protrusions having spherical ends on the outer periphery thereof. CONSTITUTION:A spiral rod 3, having inner diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of a wire 2, is wound around the wire 2 so that snow drops down therefrom when the spiral rod 3 is moved. Protrusions 12 having spherical ends 12a are provided on the outer periphery of a snow dropping unit 4 fixed to the wire 2 while containing a drive means for the spiral rod 3. The protrusions 12 retard slipping down of snow accumulated on the unit 4 and hold the snow thereon until it is melted. This structure suppresses damage due to dropping of snow from the snow dropping unit 4.</p> |
