DEVICE FOR METAL EXTRACTING FROM ORES AND MINERALS

The device is used in metallurgy for the production of copper, silver and other metals electrolytically from water solutions of their salts or in the production of gases. It is effective and reliable in operation and guarantees direct extraction of metals from low concentration solutions which often occur in are mining. The device is an electrolytic cell for metal extraction (10) of diluted solutions of their salts. A thin-walled tube (12) made of the metal to be extracted is fitted between a pair of plastic covers (13 & 14) and a central tubular electrode (21) is fitted in it. The upper and lower plastic covers (13 & 14) include an ingoing and outgoing tubes (22 & 23), respectively, for the fluid, the axes of which are perpendicular to the axis of the thin-walled tube (12) and are tangential to a ring-like cavity (24) formed between the thin-walled tube (12) and the central tubular electrode (21). The central tubular electrode (21) induces spiral or turbulent flow of the fluid in the ring-like cavity (24) which stimulates the deposition of the metal on the thin-walled tube (12).
