PURPOSE:To enable high-precision detection by adding the contour of a pattern tracing 2nd data which is extracted with binary contour data to 1st coordinate data found by interpixel interpolation on the basis of a gradational digital signal. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of a CCD camera 2 is passed through an A/D converter 22, an image memory 23, and a 1st image composing circuit 29 and displayed on a CRT monitor 14. Further, data on a memory 23 is passed through a binary coding means 24, a binary coding memory 26, and a 2nd image composing circuit 30 and displayed on a CRT monitor 15. This monitor 15 is supplied with data for a window display from a microcomputer 21 to display a window W and when the position and size of the window W are set, window data WD is supplied to an interpolation point extracting means 25, a binary contour processing means 27, and a centroid processing means 31. Then an interpolation point group means 28 performs coordinate data processing with data from the means 27 and 25. The computer 21 approximates dot arrays in groups with such straight lines that the dissociation becomes minimum, and the result is displayed 14. |
