- The invention relates to a safety plug for a pipe end. - The subject of the invention is a safety plug for a pipe end, more particularly for an end with a threaded mouth for draining or filling a tank, a sump, or the like, characterised in that it comprises, on the one hand, a sealing member (1) equipped with a screw thread (2) capable of interacting with that of the end and, on its outer face, means (3) making it possible, using a tool such as a spanner or the like, to screw it in/unscrew it and, on the other hand, a non-detachable ring (4) mounted on the said sealing member (1) so that it can swivel, envelopping it whilst allowing access to the said means (3) for screwing in/unscrewing. - Application to the sealing of ends of pipes for draining tanks or the like. <IMAGE>
