METHOD FOR REMOVING ACID FROM PROTEIN DECOMPOSING LIQUID

PURPOSE:To efficiently separate and refine an org. material from protein decomposition liquid comprising a mixture of inorg. acid and valuable material containing amino acid and/or peptide by separating the liquid into a soln. containing valuable material and an aq. acid soln. by chromatgraphy using a strongly basic anion exchange resin as a separating material. CONSTITUTION:A decomposition liquid comprising a mixture of inorg. acid and valuable material containing amino acid and/or peptide is separated into a soln. containing org. material and an acid aq. soln. by chromatgraphy using a strongly basic anion exchange resin as a separating material. A source liquid supply tank and a developer supply tank are connected to the entrance of a column filled with a strongly basic anion exchange resin. The exit of the column is connected to several vessels to extract eluates. Water is preliminarily supplied to the separating material. By supplying the protein decomposition liquid from the source liquid supply tank to the column and supplying water as a vehicle from the developer supply tank, the acid is separated from the org. material such as amino acid and peptide by the difference of adsorptivity.
