PURPOSE:To attain shifting to a required speed with one manual operation of a transmission lever and to hold the required speed in an automatic transmission mode. CONSTITUTION:A semiautomatic transmssion device has a transmission lever unit 4 including a detector which detects an operaiton position of a transmission lever 4A on an H-type shift pattern, a gear shift unit 3A which switches speeds of a transmission 3, and a controller 11 controlling operation of the unit 3A arrording to the lever position. The controller 11 sets the transmission in a neutral condition when the transmission lever is operated from a maunally transmission position to a position between the manually transmission and an automatic transmission position. When the lever is operated from the automatic transmission position to an intermediate position, the speed at that time is kept. |
