The apparatus for bundling the dried rice straw in a short while and preventing the injury of worker's hand in bundling, comprises a U-type support frame (2) on the main body (1); an air cylinder (3), a band drum (4); a speed reducer (6) driven by an electric motor (5); disc cams (7)(7')(7") for operating switches (8)(8')(8"); a rotary cam (20) with a curved member (19) driven by a bundling motor (9); a band input guide (21) at the inside of an operating bar (18); a heater (13) and a cutter (17) operated by a cam (12); loading plates (10)(10') fixed by brackets (11)(11'); band guides (16)(16') with covers (14)(14') opened or closed by a spring (15); a band transfer plate (37) with a toothed irregular surface fixed at the inner support frame (37); a rice straw transfer plate (34).
