<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate an impossibility of unlocking by installing a battery sensor to a control circuit of a motor-driven deadlock mechanism and by releasing deadlock in automatic mode if voltage drops during restricted operations. CONSTITUTION:A car door is locked with a key cylinder 2, the movement of a knob lever 6, which is connected to an inside lock knob 4 operated by a motor 23-driven actuator 10 automatically controlled by a circuit control 20, is restricted at its locked position. A deadlock release device 27, which comprises a battery sensor 27a, is installed to a control circuit of a deadlock mechanism 9. When the voltage of a battery 26 is lowered at a specified value during the restricted operation of the deadlock mechanism 9, a release device 27 operates ad drives a motor 23 reversely and hence cancels the restriction of a knob lever 6 and enables the lock to be released by operating the key cylinder 2. This construction makes it possible to eliminate any unlock incompetence produced by a power supply failure.</p> |
