PURPOSE: To provide a transmission applicable to a heavy construction equipment such as a wheel type excavator adopting the hydrostatic drive system as a power transmission system for traveling, and capable of ensuring the improved transmission performance and the enhanced service life and durability. CONSTITUTION: In this transmission of a heavy construction equipment provided with a turning joint 12 to turnably connect a control part 5 provided on an upper turning body to a gear transmission part provided on a lower traveling body, the transmission of the gear transmission part is achieved by an oil supplied from a power shift pump 15 by providing a charging pump 13 provided on the upper turning body, power shift motor 14 provided on the lower traveling body and driven by the oil supplied from the charging pump 13, and the power shift pump 15 provided on the lower traveling body and operated by the power shift motor 14. |
