PURPOSE:To produce an amorphous thermoplastic resin compsn. excellent in the balance between impact strength and heat resistance while preventing thermal degradation, etc., during production. CONSTITUTION:The resin compsn. is melt kneaded under conditions that the melt kneading is carried out in the presence of at least 1% org. solvent, that a kneader used has vent holes and each vent hole is connected to a vacuum apparatus, and that each vent hole is kept under a reduced pressure during kneading to remove the solvent and to thereby reduce the content of the solvent in the finally resulting compsn. to lower than 1wt.%. |
