The heating appliance includes a posterior wall (1) provided with a baseplate (2) intended to be fixed against a vertical support such as a wall or a partition, the baseplate (2) being designed so that the posterior wall (1) and the vertical support form between them a passage through which an ascending air flow (F1) may pass during operation of the appliance.
