摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an automatic transmission in which a lock-up clutch is not locked up to cause generation of shock when a car runs with a specified gear. CONSTITUTION:A lock-up clutch 15 is arranged on a fluid transmission device 11. A lock-up output generation means 89 of a control device 31 sets ON the lock-up output and locks up the lock-up clutch 15. The control device 31 performs lock-up judgment so that a lock-up diagram 84 is formed. It is judged whether or not vehicle speed and a throttle opening are in an ON-OFF hystersis area in the lock-up diagram 84 by means of a comparator 87. A lock-up output generation means 89 sets ON the lock-up output in the case that the vehicle speed and the throttle opening are in the ON-OFF hystersis area at the generation time of transmission output.
