PURPOSE:To provide a walking frame that is freely folded, safety, and has an enough space to support the user by separating and extending both side frames of the first and second frames using a link mechanism and by locking the link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A walking frame 1 consists of a front side frame 2 having right and left side frames 2a and 2b extending up and down, a rear side frame 3, which is located at the rear of the front side frame 2, having right and left side frames 3a and 3b extending up and down, link mechanisms 11 to 13 that link the front and rear side frames so that they can be freely close and apart, and a lock mechanism 30 which locks the link mechanisms 11 to 13 in extended condition. When the claw member of the lock mechanism 30 is pressed down to unlock, each member 30a and 30b are rotated and the walking frame is folded in two. Next, when a grip 5 is held and force is applied to it inwardly, the side frames 2a and 2b are made close to each other, a slide member 15 is lowered, and the side frames 2a, 2b, 3a, and 3b are made close to each other, whereby the walking frame is folded completely. |
