<p>PURPOSE:To devise a simple, low-priced measure to prevent crimes by providing the parking brake operating part of a vehicle additionally with a lock key. CONSTITUTION:A lock key 1' is fitted to the lever 3', fixation release button 4', or the like of a handle lever type parking brake. A lock cannot be set unless a hand brake is in the positively pulled state. For the purpose of preventing crimes, it is more positive if the key is made different from an engine key, but in the case of being used as a safety lock, it does not have to be limited to this. In the case of adding the lock key to a transmission operating part, the lock key is set to a shift knob or its periphery. Since the simple constitution of the lock key is adopted, equipment cost is low, while the utility value as the safety lock is high.</p> |
