BARRIER FLEXIBLE POLYESTER FILM

PURPOSE:To obtain a film improved in impact resistance and pinhole resistance and having a barrier layer hardly generating a flaw by laminating a gas barrier layer to the single surface of a biaxially oriented polyester film having specific Young's modulus and thrust strength. CONSTITUTION:A gas barrier layer being a resin coating layer is laminated to the single surface of a biaxially oriented polyester film composed of flexible polyester A based on polyethylene terephthalate with Young's modulus of 10-250kg/mm<2> and thrust strength of 10kg/mm or more. Herein, the resin coating layer is formed from a vinylidene chloride resin or an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer. The flexible polyester A pref. contains 1-40mol% of long chain dicarboxylic acid having a 8C or more alkylene group. Further, a polyester film with a glass transition point of 45 deg.C or higher may be laminated to the single surface of the layer of flexible polyester A on the biaxially oriented polyester film.
