MAT INSTALLATION DEVICE IN VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To provide a mat installation device which can install a paper mat in a vehicle almost completed at a vehicle assembly line. CONSTITUTION:A dolly 7 is moved while being synchronized with a vehicle 1 continuously carried over an assembly line. An mat installation device is provided on the dolly 7. Each of mats 43 piled up over the dolly is absorbed by a vacuum cup 41 roughly at the center of its surface so as to be lifted up. A right and a left end of the lifted-up mat thereby drop downward. The mat 43 in a state that its both ends drop down is held from the right and the left so as to be bent roughly into a circular arc shape. The mat bent up is pushed on from its back side by a pushing means 53 so as to be installed in the inside of the vehicle in front.
