PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF BOEHMERIA NIVEA CELLULOSE AND ITS USE OF MAKE-UP MATERIALS

The 50g of ramie as raw meterial is added to a mixture consisting of 10 g of sodium hyperchloride and 2g of sodium chloride and 1g of sodium hydroxide and 0.5g of sodium carbonate and 450g of distilled water to be agitated for 24 hrs. The separated cellulose of small size is washed for removing impurities. A 40 g of washed ramie cellulose is added to 100g of distilled water and homogeneously dispersed for 30 min. The dispersed cellulose is transformed to the powder of cellulose of particle size 1-20 μm by spray drying. A 0.1-20 wt.% of powder of cellulose relative to the whole cosmetic material is formulated.
