PURPOSE:To provide a resin for optical disk, a specific acrylic copolymer, excellent in the image durability of the optical disks made therefrom and the releasability in molding such optical disks, and containing each specific amount of dimer and alkali metal ion. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin, an acrylic copolymer made up of (A) 85-99wt.% of methyl methacrylate unit and (B) 1-15wt.% of acrylic 1-8C alkyl ester unit, is <=300ppm and <=0.1ppm in the contents of dimer and alkali metal ion, respectively. |
