Between a station (A) for individual dispensing of food products and a weighing station (B), this installation comprises: - firstly, a motorised conveyor (3) carrying, at regular intervals, series of fingers (14) projecting outwards from its strands and capable of interacting with stop faces (15a, 15b) provided in the flanks (2a) of each tray (2) in order to provide the tray/conveyor translational link, - and, secondly, between the two stations (A and B) mentioned above and in the downstream direction, a station (C) for storing and individually dispensing trays (2) and a station (D) for placing a heat-shrinkable film (46) over each tray (2). <IMAGE>
