A fluidic oscillator (1) which is symmetrical about a longitudinal plane of symmetry (P) includes elements (10, 14, 16) for generating an oscillating two-dimensional fluid jet, an obstacle (24) with a cavity (40) impinged upon by the oscillating jet in the front portion (26) thereof, and a longitudinal member (54, 58, 60, 62) arranged in the empty space (38) downstream from said obstacle for partially dividing said space into two identical areas (38a, 38b) while forming at least one fluid communication channel (56, 64, 66, 68) therebetween. A fluid flowmeter comprising said fluidic oscillator is also disclosed. |
