In order to further reduce the non-printing region, i.e. the junction (6) of an offset printing forme consisting of at least one printing plate (4) which is cut to size from a metal material and whose plate edges of the leading edge and trailing edge are joined together forming a sleeve, a carrier (2) is provided for the printing plate (4) in the form of a hollow cylinder which can be widened slightly. An adhesive layer (3) is intended to surround the carrier (2) so that the printing plate (4) can be placed in an adhesive manner on the adhesive layer (3).
