Electric hairdryer

The known electric hairdryers are increasingly more difficult to use with an increasing output since their centre of gravity is removed further away from the holding hand. The novel hairdryer is intended to eliminate this deficiency and at the same time provide installation space for a device for automatic cable winding. At least one drive motor and at least two fan wheels are used. It is thus possible to leave the motor quite near to the holding hand and to remove the fan wheels therefrom without the overall centre of gravity of the hairdryer being removed far away from the holding hand (Figure 1). At the same time, the installation space required for the cable winding is produced below and between the fan wheels. The use of a plurality of motors and fan wheels allows the design of visually unusual hairdryers which draw great attention especially if the fan wheels are provided with coloured markings. The centre of gravity lying quite near to the holding hand additionally allows less tiring working, thus allowing this hairdryer to be used in private households and commercial operations. <IMAGE>
