The invention relates to a sealing-frame arrangement on lateral frame members of a folding top (soft top), a folding roof or the like, in particular for a cabriolet (convertible) or a roadster, with two sealing rails which bear sealing profiles and are held such that they lie one behind the other when the folding top or roof is closed, with an arrangement of the sealing rails on frame members or roof parts which are connected to one another in an articulated manner and can be folded one above another when the folding top is opened, it being possible for those end sides, which are in the vicinity of the articulation, of the sealing rails, which are moved by the frame members or roof parts, to be moved out of an abutting connecting position away from one another, and with the gap at the joint between the end sides of the sealing rails being sealed by an elastically compliant sealing element which can be compressed between the end sides which move towards each other when the folding top is being closed. According to the invention, one of the sealing rails is arranged displaceably on the assigned frame element or roof part and as the folding top or roof is being opened can be moved away from the other sealing rail for the purpose of widening the gap at the joint before there is a considerable relative movement between the frame members which are connected to one another in an articulated manner.
