<p>An enanthioselective process for preparing the compounds of formulas (I) and (II) from the prochiral ketone precursor of the alcohol of formula (I). The compounds of formulas (I) and (II) are thus obtained in substantially enantiomerically pure form by reducing the ketone with a borane reducing agent in the presence of a chiral oxazaborolidine catalyst.</p> |
