NOOECCENTRICITY CORSSHEAD

PURPOSE:To set up a no-eccentricity crosshead in a short time without much labor and high skillfulness, by providing a point holder having a circular recess into which a conductor passage is opened and providing a point attachment having a conical part and a plurality of projections. CONSTITUTION:The outside surfaces 23' of the projections of the attachment 20 are airtightly fitted on an inside papered part 18 of a die 11. When a clamping nut 16 is engaged with the die 11 and the die is tightly fitted in a cartridge sleeve 5, the attachment 20 and a point 12 slide together in the radial direction along the front end face of an increased-diameter part (a) of the attachment 20 and the front end face of the point holder 8 located in contact with the front end face of the part (a) so that the projections 23 are airtightly fitted on the inside tapered surface of the die and a parallel hole 13 of the point 12 and a parallel hole 14 of the die 11 are automatically aligned to each other. The crosshead can be thus set up in a short time without much labor and high skillfulness.
