Remote control transmitter

A remote control transmitter is capable of preventing a student remote control transmitter from outputting a radio wave even if the student operator accidentally has closed a power switch on the student remote control transmitter. The transmitter comprises a radio frequency circuit for modulating a control lever operating signal which is decoded by a coder, and for outputting in the form of a radio wave, and a power control section for discriminating which is conducting a current through from an internal power supply and an external power supply, and for latching a result of the discrimination. The power control section also controls switches for feeding the coder and the radio frequency circuit with a current in dependence on the result of the discrimination. A learning switch is provided which can be applied selectively with a signal to the radio frequency circuit from the coder or a learning cable. The power control section is fed with a current through the learning cable from the external power supply or through a diode from the internal power supply.
